Corporal Shujumi was a recruit who joins Mobile Infantry at the same time with Juan Rico. He later became an instructor in Camp Arthur Currie before he finished his training. His father was a famous Colonel in the Federal military, who trained Charles Zim.
History[]
Shujumi was an expert martial artist and he was equal to Sergeant Zim in hand-to-hand combat. Before he even finisheed boot camp, he was promoted to Instuctor-Corporal. He taught judo at Camp Arthur Currie.

- "Shujumi" is not an existing Japanese surname. In the Japanese version, his name is changed into Suzumi (スズミ), which can be presented in Kanji as "鈴見" or "数住", which do exist as Japanese surnames.
- His challenge with Zim is replaced with Dizzy Flores's challenge in the 1997 film Starship Troopers (1997 film). However, unlike Shujumi, Dizzy was defeated by Zim.
