During the First Bug War, the United Citizen Federation developed the Power Armor, a type of heavy power suit which is capable of turning an individual soldier into a one-man army corps.
Spec[]
Rather large for a Powered Armor suit, its controller used a large rifle/flamethrower as the primary weapon, with two twin-tube missile launchers over the shoulders. By the Battle of Hesperous, this type of armor was not shown to still be in service.
It is capable of being dropped onto a planet's surface by drop pods negating the need to use a Dropship. Surface movement was enhanced by the capability to Jump using jump jets on the back.
History[]
First deployed during the Second Battle of Klendathu, a Powered armor worn by Thomas Trask was able to fight into a Bug hive alongside a Neodog to rescue its handler and several captured Mobile Infantry troopers with the help of a Neodog and killing a Brain Bug. The deployed armor was then returned to its ship in orbit. After this battle, several more Power Armors were deployed. Dominant Species, part 4
