Marauders are known as '''Soldier Suits''' (歩兵タイプ ''Hohei Taipu'' "Infantry Type").

Different to the novel version, the Powered Suit in the anime uses a variety of machine guns as primary armaments, while the [[Y-Rack]] is on the left shoulder instead of the back of the armor. The hatch also opens from the front instead of the back.

The Soldier Suits can also mount various optional equipments, such as micro missile missile launchers, Y-Racks, and flamethrowers. In addition, the Soldier Suits have three extra variations:
*P.S.Variation, Type-1: Flame and LASER unit equipment
*P.S.Variation, Type-2: High gravity planet method "DEEP DIVER"

The ''Terran Ascendancy'' version of the Marauder suit reflects a focus on head-on brawls, being more heavily clad than the recon variant. The 1st and 2nd class suits replace the recon drone found on recon variants with built-in forward facing micro missile racks. They also have the option of wielding heavy weapons. As with all suits, if the armor is depleted it will disintegrate and leave the wearer armed and armored with only basic weapons and equipment. The suits can only be repaired by an engineer using the repair ability.
