Corporal Joe Griff was medic in Mobile Infantry, who served during the Bug War.
History[]
Joe Griff was part of an unnamed unit alongside Charlie Soda that was sent to Zulu Alpha with several other units including Bravo Six, 701st division, and 32nd Tech Brigade. During the Battle of Zulu Alpha, their entire unit was wiped out like many others, and Griff was infected by Control Bugs. He met with Peck and apparently had infected Soda. They met and accompanied General Jack Gordon Shepherd to Hotel Delta 1-8-5 where the survivors of the battle had hunkered down, almost all of them being members of Bravo Six. Little did they know about their infection. Eventually, Joe, Peck, and Soda started infecting other troopers in the outpost. Joe personally infected the Bravo Six radar operator, Private Jill Sandee, and later helped Peck infect another Bravo Six member, Private Tor. Griff also helped Tech Sergeant Peck infect Privates Ottis Brick and William Otter. During the final battle, Griff was killed when a warrior bug accidentally pierced his skull. After throwing Griff's corpse away, the warrior proceded to attack Captain Dax, but was eventually killed.
