Varro rebuffed the Queen's entreaties, leading to a confrontation. While the Intel Bugs demonstrated proficiency in combat against the Warriors, they succumbed to the onslaught of Plasma Grenadier Bugs, resulting in their rapid obliteration. In the aftermath, only Hero and Carl remained. Carl expressed his intent to continue his research to produce more Intel Bugs. Varro urged him to flee, emphasizing the importance of completing the project. Starship Troopers: Invasion
Notes[]
- In the game Starship Troopers: Invasion "Mobile Infantry", players are equipped with a Morita-like weapon capable of transforming three Worker Bugs into Intel Bugs, assisting them during the Battle of Fort Casey.
- In the film, Plasma Grenadier Bugs demonstrate the ability to swiftly neutralize Intel Bugs with multiple blasts, whereas in the game, Federal Intelligence Bugs (FIBs) can effectively counter Plasma Grenadier Bugs with a series of strikes. These adjustments likely aim to enhance cooperative gameplay dynamics and bolster the effectiveness of Intel Bugs.
- Although Intel Bugs were deployed at Fort Casey, Varro and his squad remained unaware of their presence until encountering them aboard the John A. Warden, a revelation that took Varro by surprise.
