Goldy was a young trooper in the Mobile Infantry and member of the 701st division.
History[]
Goldy was sent on a mission on Zulu Alpha, along with Bravo Six, General Jack Gordon Shepherd, and their division. There Goldy met, and befriended a fellow trooper and newest member of Bravo Six, Private William Otter. He and Otter were likely the youngest troopers sent on the planet. Eventually they were attacked, and surrounded by bugs. The bugs were quickly overwhelming them. Eventually, Shepherd ordered the surviving troopers to retreat to the abandoned outpost Hotel Delta 1-8-5. Goldy was among the troopers who were ordered to remain behind and cover the retreat. While making a last stand with the general, Goldy was killed by the bugs during the second wave. Goldy was fondly described by Otter as being really nice, particularly during Otter's first day in the service. Shepherd successfully rejoined the surviving troopers at Hotel Delta, and told them about Goldy's death, referring to him as a "kid". Otter was saddened by this news along with Privates Sahara, Sandee, and the others. Sandee looked at Otter with sympathy as he lowered his head in grief and Sahara placed her hand on his shoulder, comforting him.
