The E-Pulse A1 Pistol[2] is essentially a large pistol designed to fire smaller ammunition than standard sidearms so as to allow a larger quantity of ammo. Officers of the 701st Mobile Infantry are known to have used them.
History[]
During the Battle of Zulu Alpha at least one attached Military Intelligence officer carried one of these pistols. During the Second Bug War Medics in the Deep Space Vanguard could be equipped with the A1 pistol.
